Our Adult Company returns to the stage at Linlithgow Academy Theatre during the October holidays with this high-energy, feel-good show inspired by the iconic 1980 film. With music and lyrics by the incomparable Dolly Parton, 9 to 5 is a hilarious, heartwarming tale of friendship, resilience and a little bit of office rebellion. When three determined women take on their egotistical boss, what follows is a riotous adventure packed with toe-tapping numbers, sharp wit and a whole lot of heart.
Following Dolly’s recent passing, bringing this particular show to the stage feels more special and poignant than we could ever have imagined when we chose it. It is a privilege to celebrate, in our own small way, the extraordinary music, humour and spirit she shared with audiences around the world, and we hope our production will be a joyful celebration of a truly remarkable legacy.
