LAMP Children’s Theatre 2027 production!
Follow the Yellow Brick Road to a world of magic, music and adventure!
Linlithgow Amateur Musical Productions (LAMP) Children’s Theatre is delighted to present The Wizard of Oz, opening on 30th March 2027 at Linlithgow Academy Theatre!
Join Dorothy and her faithful dog Toto as they are whisked away from Kansas to the magical Land of Oz. Along the way, they’ll meet the lovable Scarecrow, the kind-hearted Tin Man and the not-so-brave Lion, as they journey towards the Emerald City in search of the wonderful Wizard of Oz. But with a Wicked Witch on their trail, getting home might not be quite so easy!
Packed with unforgettable characters, colourful costumes and much-loved songs including Over the Rainbow, this timeless musical is a wonderful adventure for the whole family. With a fantastic cast of talented young performers from Linlithgow and beyond, we’re incredibly excited to bring this beloved story to life on our stage.
And there’s something rather special about this production for LAMP. The Wizard of Oz was the very first show performed by LAMP Children’s Theatre back in 1995, so we’re thrilled to be returning to where it all began, more than 30 years later!
