Are you passionate about musical theatre? Whether a seasoned performer or a curious beginner, Linlithgow Amateur Musical Productions (LAMP) invites you to a day filled with melody and learning. Dive into the world of musical theatre with our Singing Skills Workshop.
Date & Time: Saturday 3rd August, 10am – 5pm
For Whom:This workshop is open to adults aged 16 and over, regardless of skill level or background. Whether you’re stepping on stage for the first time or looking to refine your talents, and whether you prefer taking on principal roles or being part of the chorus, this workshop will help you shine and have a great time on stage!
What’s in Store:
- Experience guidance from LAMP’s talented and professionally trained performers.
- Brush up on the art of singing technique and vocal health.
- Find out how to bring your on-stage characters and emotions to life.
- Discover enjoyable techniques for blending acting with singing, including character exploration, emotional expression, and storytelling through lyrics and melody.
- Enjoy engaging exercises on body language, facial expressions, and dynamics, which will help everyone learn how to create captivating and believable performances.
- With guided practice and positive feedback, attendees will find joy in adding depth and authenticity to their songs, transforming them into powerful stories that touch audiences.
- Have a blast singing with a group of like-minded folks – let’s raise the roof with our collective voices in a fun and uplifting environment!

Investment: Just £30 for an enriching day, inclusive of a delicious lunch, tea, coffee, and lots of snacks and cakes!
Special Note: Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a pencil to annotate your music sheets.
