LAMP - Linlithgow Amateur Musical Productions

Linlithgow Amateur Musical Productions, or LAMP, formed an adult company in 1985.  After an overwhelming response for children to take part in the 1994 production of “Oliver”, we subsequently formed our Children’s Theatre in 1995.

The adult company currently has approximately 60 members aged 16 and above, and performs our annual production in October of each year in Linlithgow Academy Theatre.  Our 2009 production, and 25th anniversary show, will be the spectacular glittering musical, "Hello Dolly".  Our online box office is open and you can now order and pay for tickets for Hello Dolly here. Our children’s theatre has 50 members with ages ranging from 9 to 16, and performs its annual production in April of each year.  Their 2009 production was the cosmic rock'n'roll musical, "Return to the Forbidden Planet".  With a Shakespearean script, songs such as "Great Balls of Fire" and "Good Vibrations", space monsters and a mad scientist, it had the audience rocking in the aisles!
